hi everyone and welcome to the special
0:03
edition of the inventors Launchpad show
0:06
it is currently a January 3rd 2018 for
0:12
all you listeners who may be not taking
0:15
these podcasts in sequence you might be
0:17
jumping in at any point in the future I
0:20
just want to let you know this is our
0:22
first show of 2018 we celebrated the New
0:26
Year a few days ago and I'm just finally
0:28
recuperating enough to to do a show and
0:31
it's been the first time in a while that
0:33
I've done a show solo without a guest
0:36
and wanted to start the new year off
0:39
just kind of recapping all the fun the
0:42
great things that we did on the
0:44
inventors Launchpad show but also on the
0:46
entire inventors Launchpad Network we
0:49
launched several new podcasts or shows
0:53
that have really taken off they've been
0:55
doing great and we're getting a lot of
0:56
good feedback and we're putting a lot of
0:58
good information out into the airways
1:00
and we've gotten and built some real
1:05
large listener bases from all over the
1:08
world just unbelievable I was
1:12
overwhelmed by the amount of emails
1:16
calls letters even on social media that
1:20
we receive about to show whether it's
1:24
good or bad they we get suggestions
1:25
obviously from people about how we do
1:28
things how we can do things better we
1:29
get some great feedback of what we're
1:31
doing and and how we're doing it so keep
1:34
those suggestions keep those where you
1:36
know references keep those information
1:39
coming because it's a lot of fun to hear
1:41
from or listening base and viewer base
1:44
we are available on YouTube as a video
1:49
podcast if you want to watch
1:52
we're also on iTunes Google Play and all
1:57
of the other podcast systems that are
2:01
out there that you can log into and
2:04
search for the inventors Launchpad
2:07
Network so again I thank everyone for
2:10
listening all of you the listeners out
2:12
there all of the people
2:13
to show and if you could please if you
2:16
haven't already go on out to iTunes or
2:20
Google Play and leave us a review and
2:23
rating it'll help us not only do a show
2:26
better show and give better information
2:28
out there but also because the ratings
2:31
and reviews will help us reach more
2:33
people and if the information that we
2:36
are giving out is helping you I say
2:40
please go ahead out there and and leave
2:43
a rating a review on Google Play and
2:45
iTunes because again it helps in the
2:48
long run for everybody so as I talked
2:51
about earlier that I wanted to just do a
2:54
little quick recap of the show we've had
2:56
a great year we've had some awesome
2:58
guests I mean some of the guests we have
2:59
are going on in the invention industry
3:02
and just exploding there's some of our
3:05
guests are selling product they're
3:07
moving forward they've gotten into
3:08
retail they're selling on Amazon they've
3:11
gotten licensing deals they're doing
3:14
what they talked about and I am so glad
3:16
that we were able to catch them before
3:19
they got too big to you to be on our
3:21
show because a lot of them out there now
3:23
we speak with them we're so glad that
3:26
almost all of our guests are finding
3:28
success not only in 2017 but in in 2018
3:33
and in the future they're they're all
3:35
doing good and the invention industry is
3:38
just so much fun that you can't help but
3:41
be excited for all of the inventors
3:44
everyone that's moving their ideas
3:45
forward but a lot of our guests are
3:48
having a great year and you know we
3:49
talked from the beginning of the year on
3:52
about a lot of our guests in different
3:55
industries and different sectors of the
3:58
invention industry we we talked with
4:01
people who helped the inventors or
4:04
potential business owners speech or how
4:06
to give it a pitch better we had mr. Bob
4:08
Terrell on and earlier in the year and
4:10
he talked about giving your pitch and
4:13
how to talk about it how to portray it
4:16
how to stand how to move your hands how
4:19
do where to look at with your eyes I
4:20
mean his information was so instrumental
4:24
because a lot of inventors are going for
4:26
funding or
4:27
going for other resources or maybe they
4:29
just want to bring somebody on board and
4:32
to give you a pitch in a way to pitch
4:35
your product or idea it's very important
4:38
to connect with that audience so Bob was
4:41
a great great guest and he's still out
4:45
there right now helping people I see him
4:47
on social media I see him online he does
4:49
videos he helps people not only speak
4:52
about what they do but also he helps
4:55
with the wording and writing and I'm
4:56
really putting the whole pitch together
4:58
he also does a lot of great work with
5:00
video it's actually pretty awesome
5:02
videographer so you know having about
5:05
her along with was really a great time
5:07
we had free rider from free dimensions
5:11
he is a maker of everything he does
5:15
prototyping 3d product development he
5:19
has really expanded his business since
5:22
being on the show not just because of
5:24
the show but he was on an early in the
5:26
year and throughout the year he's been
5:27
really expanding his business so his
5:29
prototyping making and does a lot of
5:32
engineering work and he's goes to a lot
5:35
of shows and you can see his fantastic
5:38
work that he displays but he's really
5:42
really one of the top guys in the
5:43
country with 3d printers and so if
5:49
there's any questions anything going on
5:51
and you have some questions about 3d
5:52
printing free dimensions free writer is
5:56
the guy to to reach out to and we were
6:00
honored to be able to have him on the
6:01
show he was an awesome guest because of
6:04
the information that he gave it was uh
6:07
was super important and we caught him
6:09
early and as I said he's been just
6:11
exploding and you know we try to we're
6:15
gonna try to get him on the show several
6:17
times in 2018 or get some information
6:20
from him so he's a pretty good guy we
6:23
had Brian for Zulu from from dammit
6:32
we had Brian
6:33
from Bluewater media on the show now
6:36
Bluewater if you haven't heard of them
6:38
you will these guys are probably one of
6:41
the top companies out there not only
6:44
that are making video real hyper high
6:48
performance high tech commercials but
6:51
also the as seen on TV industry they
6:53
make products they do products they do
6:55
the inventory these guys do it all and I
6:59
could tell you that blue or media has
7:00
their hands and everything and they're
7:02
awesome there are a great company and
7:04
Brian is one of the top guys in that
7:07
company and he really gave us some
7:09
insight to the has seen on TV industry
7:13
and what you know companies and people
7:15
look for in that industry the snn TV
7:19
industry is a little bit different than
7:21
retail and Amazon and online sales
7:24
because as seen on TV has it's its own
7:26
animal and Brian really gave us some
7:30
information on that later on earlier in
7:33
the year we had Lois form and you know
7:36
if you haven't heard of Lois and that's
7:38
what I mean I'm gonna say this about
7:39
most of our guests I mean our guests are
7:42
our top guys in the field and mr.
7:45
Foreman I gotta tell you this guy is not
7:48
only a great businessman but he's an
7:51
all-around good guy I mean he is awesome
7:53
he loves the invention industry he loves
7:56
helping inventors and because of that
7:58
he's been super successful when you talk
8:01
to Lois you think you he is so good
8:06
hearted and such a great guy that you
8:07
you would think that in you you've known
8:09
him for years the way he talks to
8:11
everyone and he only wants to help out
8:13
anybody in the adventure industry and he
8:16
is the CEO of in ventas also a
8:21
destination and and also Edison medical
8:26
but the other great part about it is is
8:28
that they have a magazine inventors
8:31
digest what they put out to help
8:34
inventors and put vendors in there the
8:36
information which in the magazine is
8:38
really cool so if you haven't subscribed
8:41
to inventors Digest magazine you know
8:44
please to help support the inventor
8:46
industry and help support mr. Foreman
8:50
and and with the great things that he's
8:52
doing go ahead out there and and
8:54
subscribe to that magazine because
8:56
pretty cool to see some of the inventors
8:59
and their stories and what they're going
9:00
through and read up about that every
9:02
month I love the magazine I've been
9:04
getting it for several years now and it
9:07
never really lets me down but again
9:09
Louis mr. Foreman was an awesome guest
9:12
he really gave us some insight into the
9:15
invention industry we had also anna
9:19
akbari who was an author we had around
9:22
this show earlier in the year and she
9:24
did a great job talking you about what
9:29
it takes to portray yourself in the way
9:34
that you want to portray you want people
9:35
to see you you portray yourself you know
9:38
how people want you to see but also live
9:39
the life that you want to live and and
9:43
act as if you are living that life you
9:46
don't just dream it she really talks
9:48
about how to live that life and work
9:52
through the issues that you run into
9:54
everybody runs into issues everybody has
9:55
a mountain to climb and she has a great
9:58
book out there called start up your life
10:00
and yeah I would recommend inventors
10:05
business people or even if you're not
10:08
it's a great book to really help you sit
10:11
back and think about what you want to do
10:13
and what you want to accomplish so
10:14
having Anna on the show was a lot of fun
10:17
also
10:18
so as we progressed through the year we
10:22
had again awesome guest was a lot of fun
10:26
speaking with them and and you know I
10:28
wanted to do a few shows solo and talk
10:32
about specific topics but we kept
10:35
getting such good guests approaching not
10:38
only us but we would run into them and
10:40
invite them on the show that it just
10:42
didn't give us time to do too many solo
10:45
shows and I'm gonna try to do that in
10:47
2018 kind of just sit back maybe go over
10:50
some emails or questions that we get in
10:52
from some listeners and and you know
10:54
just kind of relax and just cover
10:55
specific topics having um
10:58
guests on is awesome it really is the
11:01
guests gives such a good perspective on
11:04
the invention industry and their
11:06
specific topic that it's so hard to say
11:09
no or try to push off you know the
11:13
guests onto a different timeline or
11:16
differently because we here at Amanda's
11:19
launch pad get so excited when we have a
11:21
guest that is going to give out
11:23
educational material teach our listeners
11:26
or teach us something I mean we learn
11:28
things from each of our guests they've
11:30
been so great I mean back in February we
11:33
had Mira's rrah
11:35
who is a philanthropist this guy is a
11:37
pure businessman owns several billion
11:40
dollar businesses now I travel the world
11:42
and now all he does is try to help
11:46
business owners succeed and miR is a
11:50
great guy we talked to him and I was
11:53
just astounded by the amount of
11:56
information he was able to give within
11:59
our short interview on our show so mara
12:02
was awesome
12:03
back then we had we had David
12:06
Lieberstein he's from dream products and
12:09
he is a guy that's always looking for
12:11
the next big thing he's a guy that puts
12:14
products not only in retail but he does
12:16
as seen on tv stuff he has some great
12:19
successes he spoke about what retailers
12:22
are looking for he spoke about what he
12:24
was looking for when he takes a product
12:26
on he also helps inventors move their
12:29
product forward and he was really very
12:32
instrumental on giving some information
12:35
that we got some feedback from some
12:38
inventors and his teachings his
12:40
knowledge and experience from that show
12:43
helped a few inventors and I remember
12:46
those emails that I forwarded over to
12:49
David because he was so knowledgeable in
12:52
the specific industry and specific items
12:55
that he was talking about that it helped
12:58
those particular inventors and it still
13:01
is I know for a fact that his show that
13:05
we have gets a lot of downloads each
13:08
month and
13:10
he's a great guy by the way also David
13:12
is very knowledgeable and very
13:14
approachable because he is very
13:18
experienced in his craft so he was
13:22
really good to speak with and sit down
13:24
with one of our other guests that we had
13:26
on back and earlier in the year was
13:29
Jeffrey mangas he is a licensing coach
13:33
and he basically like it sounds he helps
13:37
inventors get licensing deals I want to
13:42
say you're late helps inventors license
13:45
their product but not only does he just
13:47
not tell you what to do he trains you on
13:49
how to do it he does not want to have
13:52
his hands in on your product he doesn't
13:54
want a piece of your business he doesn't
13:56
want any of that he wants to coach you
13:58
on what you need to do it's not what he
14:01
needs to do and that's the great thing
14:03
about what Jeffrey does over at product
14:07
coach USA is that he trains you to be
14:10
able to do this repeatedly it's not a
14:13
one-time thing because licensing is a
14:15
constant you always are looking to
14:17
license not only one product but if
14:19
you're an inventor like all of us that
14:21
listen to the show you have several
14:23
ideas several different products that
14:24
you may want a license so he is an
14:27
educator he is an awesome educator and I
14:31
could tell you this after our show with
14:32
Jeffrey a few months later we had been
14:35
speaking back and forth after our show
14:37
we got so much good feedback from his
14:39
show is that we actually started a
14:42
podcast with Jeffrey called the
14:44
licensing jungle and you can go on to
14:47
the inventors Launchpad Network through
14:48
iTunes or Google Play stitcher and you
14:52
could download or listen to the
14:54
licensing jungle shows and he basically
14:57
gives the whole information there I mean
14:59
he does charge to be a coach he does
15:01
charge coaching and lessons and he has
15:04
packages if you're looking for that but
15:07
I mean he doesn't leave anything out on
15:09
these shows he has some great guests on
15:11
the show and he has given some awesome
15:15
education and knowledge and experience
15:18
on this show about licensing so if
15:20
you're looking license a product go
15:21
ahead and listen to these
15:24
licensing jungle with mr. mangas and if
15:27
you need more information anymore help
15:29
going out to product coach USA and I can
15:33
almost guarantee you that you won't be
15:36
saw her if you did so Jeff was great guy
15:39
and as I said we started up for share
15:40
with him
15:41
because of that he had some great
15:44
information and licensing is a big thing
15:46
in his industry and and we knew that so
15:48
he's pretty good moving along in 2017 we
15:52
brought on a gentleman who who was an
15:56
awesome guy he's a retired colonel
16:00
and he's a CEO cicero consulting mr.
16:04
Russ Barnes and Russ was awesome because
16:08
he is one of these guys who is so
16:11
organized and so specific about what he
16:15
does that he cannot be deterred I mean
16:17
he if you have a question about what he
16:20
does you can't question it his knowledge
16:22
you can't question his experience he is
16:24
so good at what he does in organizing
16:26
and helping organize companies that he
16:31
is an educator and he is a consultant
16:34
for some top companies and I don't think
16:37
I can mention the companies he works for
16:39
but they're not fortune 500 companies he
16:41
loves working with small businesses when
16:44
I say smaller businesses probably from
16:47
$50,000 to several million he loves
16:50
working in that pocket of companies but
16:53
they're very successful and he gets him
16:56
there and he's an awesome guy he's so
16:58
good at podcasting and we enjoy being on
17:00
a podcast once that he started his own
17:02
podcast and I could tell you it's taking
17:04
off I listen to it and I know hundreds
17:07
of people that listen to to Russ's
17:11
podcast and I can tell you just go out
17:15
there and do a search for Russ Barnes on
17:20
iTunes
17:22
or you can do a search on Google Play
17:26
and you will find the purposely
17:29
profitable podcast and what you will
17:33
find while you're listening to Russ's
17:35
podcast is he loves using
17:38
words that start with the letter P and
17:40
he is good at doing it I cannot because
17:43
I sound crazy and I mispronounce all the
17:46
words but the purposely profitable
17:48
podcast is an awesome show he gives out
17:52
a great information it's a short podcast
17:54
it's a daily podcast which shows his
17:56
commitment and I would highly recommend
17:58
you take a look at that show or give a
18:01
listen because uh again the podcast is
18:05
awesome and he really does some good
18:08
stuff on it I must say moving along we
18:11
will again we had some some great guests
18:15
I'm trying to go through and just in my
18:18
mind just just think about the guests
18:20
that we had on I mean we had Warren
18:23
Tuttle I mean the president of United
18:27
inventors Association Warren's awesome
18:29
he give good advice realistic advice now
18:31
Warren Tuttle travels the world speaking
18:35
basically keynote speaking all over the
18:38
world about inventions products how to
18:41
get your products in the market and and
18:43
what does really like to be an inventor
18:45
he has some super experience out there
18:49
and again you don't get to be the
18:51
president of uniting venez Association
18:54
just by chance or by accident
18:57
and Warren and I have spoken several
19:01
times not only on on different podcasts
19:04
on this podcast but about products about
19:07
things in events that that he is going
19:09
to be doing that will be at and we're
19:12
always trying to meet up because
19:13
whenever you meet up with Warren it's
19:14
always a lot of fun he's not only you
19:16
know again embedded in the inventor
19:19
industry but he's a great guy he loves
19:21
his business he loves helping people and
19:24
it seems like that is a part of the
19:28
guests it seems like everyone that we
19:31
have on the show they really are just
19:33
reaching out they know the invention
19:35
industry is not an it's not an easy
19:36
industry and they're just really giving
19:40
out their information giving out their
19:41
experience and just trying to help
19:44
in any way they can and that's really
19:46
what most podcasts are all about it
19:49
really is just just trying to help out
19:52
trying to give out in for different
19:53
information and it's a lot of it's a lot
19:56
of fun in that sense so again we spoke
20:00
with we spoke with Warren in-depth about
20:03
different topics different things that
20:06
that he has going on the inventors
20:08
Association I can tell you that if at
20:10
all possible
20:11
going out to unite inventors association
20:14
and join up because it really helps to
20:19
have a voice in for inventors things in
20:22
Congress things that are happening
20:24
different types of bills for patent
20:26
offices and different things that are
20:28
going on and it'll help your rights but
20:31
in all only that it's going to keep you
20:32
informed about goings on different
20:34
industries shows that are happening and
20:36
the great part about the being joining
20:40
and being part of your night event
20:43
association is that it's free and that's
20:45
one thing that I could never understand
20:47
is why their membership wasn't through
20:50
the roof because you know I didn't to be
20:54
a member of the United inventors
20:55
Association is free you just got to sign
20:57
up and they don't bombard you with spam
21:01
email you know they're not going to do
21:02
that the great part about it is you get
21:04
a lot of information you can reach out
21:06
and talk to people you can find out
21:07
where they're going to be what's gonna
21:10
be happening and it's important to
21:12
support inventors all over the world we
21:16
need to all help we can get and you AI
21:18
or the uia I should say is is awesome at
21:24
it so go ahead and go on out to night in
21:26
venice association and join up you won't
21:29
be sorry there's there's no doubt about
21:30
it just looking through our list of
21:34
guests and had so many guests that's
21:35
it's hard to to choose to talk about we
21:39
had ashley Mazurek who is one of the top
21:44
health coaches in in the nation in i
21:49
don't want to say the world because i'm
21:50
not sure about that information but in
21:52
the nation she is one of the top
21:55
holistic health coaches
21:58
and what she talked about is being
22:00
healthy to be a good inventor to be a
22:03
good leader because you have to be
22:05
healthy in order for your mind to work
22:07
correctly your body to work correctly
22:09
for you to operate at optimal you know
22:15
performance you have to be healthy and
22:17
she talked about how to do that how to
22:19
think right how to eat right how to how
22:22
to move some super great information and
22:26
I can tell you that many of you guys out
22:29
there that are starting the year off you
22:30
want some some good information or you
22:32
want to talk to somebody that really
22:34
knows her stuff go on out to Ashley
22:37
Missouri X website which is balanced bod
22:41
calm so that's balanced and then be OD
22:45
calm and if you have a question reach
22:48
out to her do a search for her ashley
22:51
Mazurek ma z u r EK she was an awesome
22:55
guest and we're looking to get her back
22:57
on the show in 2018 I think it'll be a
23:00
lot of good a lot of good information
23:01
that she'll be out for you one of our
23:03
other guests um who has taken off who
23:07
was really killing it out there now was
23:09
a Bonnie Sussman from go lids you
23:13
probably have seen her information her
23:15
updates on LinkedIn if you're a big
23:17
LinkedIn user like I am but Pawnee has
23:20
an awesome product that is basically
23:24
revolutionising the tops that go on to
23:28
cups that you would get at not just fast
23:31
food I don't want to say fast food
23:32
restaurants but at food establishments
23:35
to-go cups things that you would have to
23:37
carry so she developed or invented this
23:41
awesome tray that goes on top of the cup
23:44
and holds your food and holds everything
23:46
you need and I'm not giving it good
23:48
enough justice by describing it so I'm
23:52
going out to go lids and take a look at
23:57
it find Bonnie on LinkedIn connect with
24:00:00
her because pretty
24:03:00
stuff gonna be happening for her in 2018
24:06:00
but I can tell you the second half of
24:08:00
2017 has really been a great year for
24:11:00
and I wish her all the best because he
24:14:00
really has a great product out there so
24:17:00
moving on we had Bob greenstone he's an
24:22:00
As Seen on TV guru the guy knows his
24:25:00
stuff he is always looking for products
24:28:00
I'm giving advice helping inventors that
24:33:00
might have a product for the as seen on
24:36:00
TV industry think about the ASO TV
24:39:00
industry is that it's very tough to
24:44:00
break into I don't I don't want people
24:47:00
to think that you know every product
24:50:00
that is sent over to an as seen on tv
24:54:00
guy or girl is going to be the the
24:58:00
product you know that the next Snuggie
25:00:00
or the next you know pet rock because
25:02:00
it's very very tough it's very specific
25:05:00
because the amount of money that has to
25:08:00
be spent on putting a product on TV
25:12:00
ordering it delivering it selling it
25:14:00
it's very very specific and one out of a
25:18:00
thousand products may get looked for it
25:21:00
doesn't mean that your product is not a
25:23:00
good product but the as seen on TV
25:27:00
industry is so specific and has to be so
25:30:00
precise that a lot of products will get
25:33:00
just pushed away get turned away they
25:35:00
might even do a test on your product and
25:38:00
and it might fail when I say fail again
25:41:00
it doesn't mean it's a bad product it's
25:42:00
just not good for the as-seen-on-tv
25:45:00
industry and Bob walked us through that
25:48:00
with some great information I can tell
25:52:00
you that I had a product that I tested
25:53:00
on asking on TV and it failed that
25:55:00
thought it was great product and it's
25:57:00
selling in other industry that's selling
26:00:00
in other sectors but it wasn't right for
26:02:00
the as-seen-on-tv industry and we we
26:05:00
went through to actually make a
26:07:00
commercial and we did a test and it just
26:09:00
did not test right now it's sold but it
26:12:00
didn't have the high volume that's
26:14:00
needed for the cost involved in the ass
26:17:00
TV industry and Bob walked us through
26:20:00
all that he's a great guy and I'm gonna
26:23:00
try to get him back on the show
26:25:00
in this this year maybe even a few times
26:28:00
because we did get a lot of questions
26:31:00
and a lot of feedback after Bob's show
26:34:00
because a lot of people believe that
26:37:00
their product is right for acid on TV
26:39:00
and some of them might be right yeah but
26:42:00
but again the majority of products that
26:44:00
are out there majority of you inventors
26:45:00
I want to say don't don't worry or don't
26:49:00
get down if your product it does not
26:52:00
make it and the acid on TV market
26:55:00
because it's tough industry it really is
26:58:00
so moving along I I feel bad because we
27:01:00
have so many great guests and we're just
27:03:00
kind of running out of time I do want to
27:05:00
mention we had Christina Dave's she is
27:07:00
an author she's a TV show host
27:09:00
she's a PR expert Christina Dave's is
27:13:00
awesome she's an inventor also by the
27:16:00
way but she is awesome at talking about
27:20:00
how to get your product not only in
27:22:00
front of people but make it compelling
27:24:00
make them want to hear more about it she
27:28:00
has a book out which is awesome
27:30:00
take a look at it if you can again do do
27:33:00
a search for Christina Dave's not only
27:36:00
on Amazon but on Google and you'll get a
27:38:00
boatload of information she is she is
27:42:00
she's great at what she does
27:44:00
the good part about it is she and she
27:45:00
understands the inventor mentality
27:49:00
because she's an inventor herself and I
27:52:00
can tell you when you start digging into
27:54:00
Christina's information you'll be
27:57:00
surprised that some of the people that
27:58:00
she knows and it was great to have her
28:01:00
on the show not only is she an awesome
28:04:00
speaker an awesome podcast guest but you
28:08:00
know because she is in front of a camera
28:11:00
she really does a great job and gives
28:14:00
the information in a way that that you
28:17:00
can understand in the way that I could
28:19:00
understand and her communication
28:21:00
capabilities are astounding so Christina
28:25:00
was a was an awesome guest and and again
28:27:00
as we progress through we had
28:30:00
ashle matey who is a toy inventor she
28:34:00
does a lot of inventions I think she's
28:37:00
out of New York and she was an awesome
28:40:00
guest because she works with an
28:42:00
organization called women in toys which
28:45:00
i think is one of those groups that is
28:49:00
instrumental in helping women inventors
28:52:00
it's just not about toys but it's just
28:55:00
the name women in toys which is kind of
28:57:00
pretty cool inventor it stands for with
28:59:00
women in toys and if again if you are an
29:03:00
inventor go ahead and check out their
29:05:00
organization they have different
29:08:00
meetings and things going on all over
29:10:00
the country I would highly recommend
29:13:00
supporting women in toys try to give
29:16:00
you're an inventor or especially if
29:17:00
you're a woman inventor try to get out
29:19:00
to one of their meetings and join in the
29:21:00
the value you get from the women
29:25:00
inventor group is way way above any
29:31:00
costs if there is any involved in
29:34:00
joining women in toys the amount of
29:36:00
information the people that you will
29:38:00
meet is phenomenal so Ashley Mady was
29:43:00
very very good at explaining how she got
29:50:00
into the business how hard it is an
29:52:00
event in industry and basically you know
29:55:00
what you need to do and how to get your
29:58:00
product in front of the right people
30:00:00
she's done it she knows it she lives it
30:02:00
every day so do a search for Ashley
30:05:00
matey M a dy or women in toys or wit I
30:10:00
think you'll be very happy that you did
30:13:00
that one of our other guests who was
30:16:00
awesome was Jacqueline dharna now
30:18:00
Jacqueline is an inventor
30:20:00
she's based right out of here in Tampa
30:23:00
Florida and she has some cool products
30:27:00
out there that help people with
30:31:00
headaches seasickness dizziness
30:35:00
different things called Nomo and I
30:38:00
guarantee that she is going to be
30:41:00
something that you're gonna hear about
30:42:00
especially if you're in the event
30:44:00
industry and you're constantly searching
30:46:00
for for information for education for
30:50:00
people that might be able to help you I
30:51:00
could tell you that Jacqueline darn will
30:53:00
be someone that will pop up on your
30:56:00
radar quite often she was an awesome
30:59:00
guest very exciting to talk to because
31:02:00
she's very passionate about what she
31:03:00
does and she doesn't mind giving out
31:06:00
free not free education she talks to
31:08:00
that exactly what to do she talks about
31:10:00
it and you have to listen because she's
31:13:00
done it there's there's no getting
31:14:00
around that she does not fake it because
31:17:00
she's doing it and she's got our product
31:19:00
in a lot of stores I don't want to
31:21:00
mention the ones but I can tell you that
31:23:00
in a lot of retail stores different
31:26:00
retailers and her product is blowing up
31:29:00
so it's it's a lot of fun to to see
31:32:00
someone who has an invention has it in
31:35:00
the stores pretty cool so somebody also
31:39:00
I want to mention that we had on our
31:41:00
show is a gentleman in in it wasn't so
31:44:00
much that he's an inventor he is a
31:45:00
business guy his name is Steve Wisner
31:47:00
and he has a podcast called
31:51:00
on word nation it's one of the top
31:52:00
business podcasts in the country
31:55:00
probably in the world I shouldn't say
31:56:00
the country because you know he's a
31:58:00
worldwide these podcasts but Stevens
32:02:00
podcast is very helpful a lot I would
32:05:00
recommend any inventor who's going to go
32:07:00
on to start a business with their
32:09:00
invention to listen in on Stevens show
32:13:00
it's called onward nation and he not
32:15:00
only talked about business and things
32:20:00
about how to start a business or what to
32:21:00
do when things to look out for in a
32:23:00
business but he also talked about
32:24:00
podcasting and how podcasts can really
32:27:00
help your business and that you don't
32:29:00
have to start a podcast to get millions
32:31:00
of listeners there's a lot of different
32:34:00
reasons why you may want to start a
32:36:00
podcast or a blog or a video blog and he
32:39:00
really talked about those steps he also
32:41:00
has a book called profitable podcasting
32:44:00
out and in this book which I've read
32:47:00
yeah it's no holds barred he gives out
32:49:00
all information and he doesn't hold
32:52:00
anything back it's a great book Stephens
32:55:00
a great guy and again I recommend
32:58:00
omber nation podcast if you're looking
33:01:00
for a business type podcast I was
33:03:00
actually on Stephens podcast recently
33:06:00
and we talked a little bit about
33:08:00
business it was a lot of fun being on
33:09:00
his show and having the time having the
33:12:00
tables turned it was a little weird I
33:13:00
don't go on too many other podcasts the
33:16:00
invention industry is a little different
33:22:00
compared to a lot of the other podcast
33:23:00
so we don't get too many invitations to
33:26:00
be on business podcast because the
33:29:00
invention industry is just kind of
33:31:00
secluded in that sense so it was a lot
33:33:00
of fun being on another podcast it was
33:36:00
pretty cool the other the other things
33:40:00
that we talked about recently we had
33:44:00
some intellectual property attorneys on
33:47:00
the show we had the inventors of the
33:51:00
Hank o matic on the show recently and
33:54:00
that was kind of in December that was a
33:56:00
lot of fun having them on the show
33:58:00
because we really got to hear about what
34:02:00
it takes to get an invention not only
34:05:00
from the idea phase all the way through
34:08:00
to a retail and the inventors gave us
34:12:00
some great insight it was a lot of fun
34:15:00
hearing about them it's a
34:17:00
husband-and-wife team and it was it was
34:22:00
crazy because they were both on at the
34:24:00
same time and you could tell that
34:26:00
they're having a lot of fun talking
34:28:00
about their product but the actual
34:30:00
journey of bringing their product the
34:33:00
ups and downs the stresses the work it
34:37:00
shows that it's not easy it's not always
34:39:00
just fun it's a lot of work to get a
34:42:00
product out to retail and and then
34:46:00
actually continue the process of
34:48:00
supplying that product to the retailer's
34:50:00
again and and getting the funds and
34:53:00
manufacturing and talking to your
34:55:00
manufacturers and making sure
34:56:00
everything's working out so that was a
34:59:00
lot of fun too to speak with the
35:01:00
inventors of the Hangul mag it really
35:03:00
was so that was one of the last show so
35:06:00
so again I just wanted to kind of go
35:09:00
over
35:10:00
cap we had a lot of other guests and I
35:12:00
I'm gonna apologize right now if you
35:14:00
were guests on the show and I didn't
35:16:00
mention you I'm just kind of going
35:18:00
through the list and skimming the list
35:20:00
as I speak of this again we usually
35:24:00
don't script any of our shows so I was
35:26:00
just looking over the list and and
35:28:00
pulling out information and it wasn't
35:32:00
was it meant to skip anybody if I did I
35:34:00
will I will try to bring you back on the
35:38:00
show to make up for it because our
35:40:00
listeners are always looking to to get
35:44:00
more information it's a lot of fun so so
35:46:00
again that was just a quick recap we're
35:49:00
going to go back to our regular shows
35:51:00
and giving out information and training
35:53:00
and education on our next show please
35:57:00
tune in for those shows and and again I
36:01:00
thank all of our listeners that are out
36:03:00
there all of you that reach out that
36:05:00
sending questions that give us ratings
36:07:00
reviews and again thanks for just
36:10:00
listening in it really helps us it's a
36:12:00
lot of fun and we will catch you next
36:15:00
time on the inventors launchpad show you
36:19:00
all take care and again as I said have a
36:22:00
great 2018 and we'll be here with you
36:26:00
through the whole year but
